Release 4.18

Release 4.18

In this release, our primary focus is a brand-new Bill of Materials app called BOM Variations. With this much-requested feature, users can create multiple Bill of Materials pages within a single style. We’ve also shipped UX improvements and expanded configuration options for colors in color palettes and colorways.

Enhancements

  • Introduced the new BOM Variations app, which supports multiple BOMs within the same style record. You can create BOM Variations, BOM Options, supplier- or vendor-specific BOMs, and other scenarios where more than one BOM is needed for a single style.

    • Each BOM can have its own set of colorways, enabling you to source different colorways to different suppliers or partners.

    • In Tracking, you can specify which BOM(s) to use for each item.

    • This is Phase 1 of the BOM Variations app, with additional features coming in future releases.

  • Contact Export in Inbox now includes more detail, allowing you to see Active vs. Inactive users, as well as users who have been invited but have not yet accepted their invitations or set up their username/password.

  • Thumbnail images can now be included in report exports in the Reports folder, providing a visual reference for the item on your report.

  • Improved UX on search screens for opening records (styles, materials, images, etc.) in new browser tabs while in thumbnail view.

    • Right-click a thumbnail to open the browser menu and select “Open in new tab/window,” or simply middle-click the thumbnail to open it in a new tab.

  • Size Classes in Blocks are now displayed in the left-hand navigation frame, allowing you to quickly open each size class to review and make changes.

Admin Configuration Enhancements

  • Core system Color Chip fields—such as Color Number and Color Name—can now be locked on Material Colorway and Style Colorway pages to prevent changes to standardized data.

  • Admins can restrict users from adding Style or Material Colorways via the RGB color picker, and can require selection from Pantone libraries, Color Palettes, or Color Libraries.

  • Added additional public APIs for Data Tables: Get/List/Post, enabling more robust automations with Data Tables.

  • Tracking Folders can now be configured to pull Partner information from the Relationship area of Partner records in the Directory.

  • New format for User Security Groups, providing more security role detail and improved searchability.

Changes

  • The New/Create button on master folder search screens (Style, Material, Image, Color, etc search screens) has been updated: the larger “NEW” button is now a smaller “+” icon as part of our evolving UI elements.
